In this movie the main actor is Walter Neff, Mrs. Dietrichson, Lola Dietrichson, Keyes and Nino Zachetti. This film shows the elements of film noir where it is found to be using low key photograph, wet city street, and romantic fascination and shows the character of femme fatale (Naremore. Walter Neff is the male protagonist and Mrs. Dietrichson is showing the femme fatale characteristic. This movie shows how Mrs. Dietrichson seduced Walter Neff to kill her husband Mr. Dietrichson. She even used Nino Zachetti to set Walter Neff in trouble. This shows how the femme fatale character shown as strong in this movie. The femme fatale is an irresistibly attractive woman who leads men into danger and she also became the protagonist’s romance interest (Grossman, J. (2009). In this movie, they also show that the colored people are only used as the workers and the main characters are the whites ( Lott. E 1997).
